ABOUT THE ARTWORK:

THE IANELLI is a polychrome terracotta sculpture on an Art Deco building located in Chicago, IL. It was sculpted by Alfonso Ianelli, an Italian-American sculptor (1888 - 1965) and influential artist in graphic arts, architecture, industrial design. Ianelli collaborated with notable architects Frank Lloyd Wright, Barry Byrne, Bruce Goff and others, and his work and career history are inspiring and worth researching.

WHO WE ARE:
DecoDevotion is a design collection created by architectural photographer Jacia Phillips based in Kansas City, Missouri.  For more than 20 years, Jacia has been devoted to documenting historic Art Deco architecture across the United States and recently launched DecoDevotion — a collection of functional art pieces featuring authentic architectural photography from real American Art Deco landmarks.  Unlike many “Deco-inspired” retail products that rely on digital patterns, each DecoDevotion design originates from actual historic buildings, resulting in a collection rooted in preservation, provenance, and architectural integrity.
