ABOUT THE ARTWORK:

THE BEDAZZLER is a photograph of an Art Deco ceiling inside Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The octagonal Little Theater was designed by Joseph Murphy, a recent graduate of L'Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The stunning gold ceiling when viewed from the precise center below is a dazzling form of geometric shapes with beautiful lighting effects encircled by figures of zodiac astrological signs.

WHO WE ARE:
DecoDevotion is a design collection created by architectural photographer Jacia Phillips based in Kansas City, Missouri.  For more than 20 years, Jacia has been devoted to documenting historic Art Deco architecture across the United States and recently launched DecoDevotion — a collection of functional art pieces featuring authentic architectural photography from real American Art Deco landmarks.  Unlike many “Deco-inspired” retail products that rely on digital patterns, each DecoDevotion design originates from actual historic buildings, resulting in a collection rooted in preservation, provenance, and architectural integrity.
