ABOUT THE ARTWORK:
THE STARLIGHT is an Art Deco ornamental detail found at 1 N. LaSalle St. in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The original bronze detail has been digitally transformed into a vibrant rose color with the dark shadows disappearing into a bold, solid black abyss, just like STARLIGHT.
WHO WE ARE:
DecoDevotion is a design collection created by architectural photographer Jacia Phillips based in Kansas City, Missouri. For over 20 years, Jacia has been devoted to documenting historic Art Deco architecture across the United States and recently launched DecoDevotion — a collection of functional art pieces featuring authentic architectural photography from real American Art Deco landmarks. Unlike many “Deco-inspired” retail products that rely on digital patterns, each DecoDevotion design originates from actual historic buildings, resulting in a collection rooted in preservation, provenance, and architectural integrity.
